"A solitary fantasy can transform one thousand realities." -Maya Angelou
A painting I did for Justin's and my two-year anniversary. It was meant to be my present to Justin, but I am keeping it to work on until I am completely satisfied. In the mean time, I made him a ring. Poor kid. Anyway, since I still want to change some things, suggestions are very welcome. The butterflies and possibly the mushrooms will be going. Who knows what else.
Done in acrylic...just a random idea I had. I'll put the original drawing in scraps. It started out a but different.
simply beautiful
It's amazing what you can do with a brush and some paint
Only one suggestion: I thing the black shape in the middle of the moon attracts too much the attention... maybe it's because it is so empty. Did you try painting lil stars on it? Dunno

Thanks, yeah... it is a bit empty. I thought about stars, but I couldn't really get them to work right. There was originally something in there, but It ended up being too overwhelming. On the painting it's really dark blue, with a little bit of texture, so it looks more like the night sky. I like the idea of stars though, if I can make it work. That's why there is a spiderweb in the other empty space. Like I said, it still needs work. :/ Thanks for the help though, I need it!
You are very welcome.
It was just a suggestion so take it easy
The empty space only puzzled me a lil when I first saw the picture, but it's really ok having an empty place in the middle of the pic, it's almost relaxing.
A place to rest before entering the chaos that surrounds it.
Wow, that was very poetical

Holy crap. So much to look at. This is one of the more creative pieces I've seen for a long time on dA. It's almost like a surrealist fantasy painting in a way. Wonderful work, as usual.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
